Title: " Cubist Landscape Type: Oil on original canvas Dimensions: 21,75 '' x 29" inches unframed Origin: France Date of creation: 1940's Condition: Good ABOUT THE ARTIST: Born in Toulon (Var), April 23, 1891, died in Tourrettes-sur-Loup 2 October 1965.Student at the School of Fine Arts in Toulon.A Stock Exchange in 1910 allows him to study at the School of Fine Arts in Paris, in Colin Raphael workshop and the School of Decorative Arts (he won the prize of the Minister).Exhibited at the Salon des Independants (an associate) in 1926 and the Salon d'Automne. Learns fresco painting with De Signori and Morreina.Decorate Chapelle Saint André (Nièvre) and St. Peter's Church of Toulon.He painted many landscapes of Provence to Chabaud way.In the 1950s, he returned at lunchtime for health reasons and comes to live Tourrettes-sur-Loup.At his death, he was nicknamed the Giono paint.Exhibited works:Musée de Grenoble - LandscapeMuseum of Toulon: 4 tables- Portrait of Leo Vérane, poet- Self-Portrait- In the park- The valée of DardennesA donated to the town of Tourrettes a table that occupies an entire wall read more
