This auction is for Leotax brand rangefinder camera with "lever type" shutter, serial no. 310427, with Leica 39mm screw mount, made in Japan in late 1950-1960's. This camera is fine working condition, but shutter speed at "T" works as "1" second shutter speed. Also, there is a missing part at strobo(flash) connection. Mechanically, - Rangefinding patchwork : Working fine. - Shutter : Working fine at each speed level except for T. - Self timer: Working fine. - Film counter : Works fine. - Other manual operations such as unwinding or open/close back door : Working. Cosmetically, there are two slightly deformed parts on top metal part, but overall the camera is clean and good condition. Please see photos for details. Film curtain is in good condition, and finder view is nice. This camera will be sent by SAL economy mail(2-4 weeks for delivery) of Japan Post at $20 to worldwide destinations .
