WEALDEN LEPIDOTUS MESOZOIC PARTIAL FISH SKULL BONES FOSSIL ARMOURED EXTINCT CRETACOUS FISH AS ALWAYS, I OFFER A CONSIDERABLE SHIPPING REDUCTION FOR MULTIPLE PURCHASES Species: Lepidotus sp. RECENT FIND Preserved parts of the head including bones and skull plates - see pics. Fossil also consists of articulated vertebrae, and numerous scales including orbital scales. Lepidotes was a large Mesozoic armoured fish. It is possible that some of the often mangled pieces of Lepidotes collected from this locality are actual 'leftovers' from the large theropod dinosaur Baryonyx. Solid piece - no flakey bits!
