For auction it a Playbill from the final engagement of the original 30 year run of “Les Miserables”. Les Miz opened at the Kennedy Center in December 1986, and reigned as one of Broadways most beloved shows until July 23, 2006. This is a true collectors item that is a must for any Broadway/theatre memorabilia collection. The final engagement of the Marius Company took place at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis, July18-23, 2006. This show’s company included Randal Keith as Jean Valjean, Joan Almedilla as Fantine, and Robert Hunt as Inspector Javert. This Playbill includes a list of interesting facts and totals from the 30 year run of this Broadway Classic. One amazing fact is that in the Marius Company alone, if you had been on the turntable for every show, it would have taken you on a 3530.5 mile circular journey. Over 51million people in 38 countries have seen “Les Miz”, making it arguably, the most popular Broadway show in history. Also included in this auction is a Playbill from the new touring production of Les Miserables, signed by the entire cast. Shipping to the continental US will be $3, and I will ship these items to theatre fans worldwide. I do have a number of these Playbills available. Please check my other auction for more theatre memorabilia.
