LEVENGER VERONA by STIPULA Complete and as new in original package NEVER INKED and in pristine condition! This pen was sold by Levenger under the name of "Verona" . It was made by "Stipula" in Florence (Firenze) Italy. I purchased one of these from Levenger a few years ago and still have the catalog page that lists a sales price of $159. With a fantastic 14k gold nib these pens write very smoothly and the size and balance are fantastic. It is about 5 3/4 inches or 13.7 cm in length with cap on and about 6 1/2 inches or 15.8 cm with cap posted. Stipula sold a couple of similar pens as the "Castoni" and "College" lines. I think this has an improvement over those pens in how the clip is done. It is operated so the clip lifts from the body by means of a spring underneath it. My favorite thing is the obsidian ball in the end of it which, unlike the other pens with fixed cabachons , rolls freely in its mounting so that when it pushes over something it is very smooth. This Navy Blue Verona is in new condition .
