LEVI IS BEING OFFERED FOR SALE By Artist Nancy Tritt Bruns This is the last remaining Levi in my inventory, which has been in storage for two decades. I plan to make three more Levi and Esther dolls, to complete the closed edition, before the end of 2013. These will be #118-#119-#120 Levi, Wholesome Amish Boy, (#13/120 of a closed edition) is Handcrafted 23" Molded Wood Byartist, Nancy Tritt Bruns (Brunswood Dolls and Bears). In 1993 Bruns won the Dolls Magazine of the Year award for Levi and Esther, Which were featured the December magazine cover. His distinctively hand painted face,scaled to size, authentic denim suspendered trousers, cotton shirt and straw hat. His naturally proportioned soft body, is artist signed on the seat. Levi is signed and numbered on the back of the head, and is documented with descriptive tag, certificate of authenticity, gold award medallion and award certificate. Levi, part of the artist's inventory, has been in storage for two decades. Original selling price $250. Brunswood Dolls have been purchased by doll collectors as well as those who never considered themselves doll lovers until they saw Nancy's dolls. In 1990 Bruns began making molded wood faces from original carvings she created in the likeness of hers and neighborhood children.
