FREE SHIPPING! This auction is for 4 beautiful glass buttons made by artisans in the region of Bohemia, Czech Republic. They are pressed from vintage molds and then ground, painted, and painstakingly detailed by hand. The paint is permanent high-temperature fired enamel. These buttons have a wonderful 3-D quality and great domed high relief detail. They have an illusion of depth and a luminous glow from reverse because they are back painted under a thick layer of glass. Each measures approx. 32mm (1 1/4") wide and has a glass shank. They are reverse painted in metallic glittery purple and have high shine gold enamel accents on the front.They make wonderful embellishments to clothes, knits, hats, crafts, and can even be used in jewelry making!!
