My oh my. How often do you find this popular pattern in a piece as large as this as well as such nice condition. Purchased at a recent upscale estate auction....this 90 plus woman had said it was her grandmothers. I do not think she used it because of the superb condition it is in....even the inside only shows some dust is all.....usually some staining but not this time. This has two swans upon the water with some water plants in the foreground. In the background are large trees and smaller shrubs, and in the distance in the horizon more trees and an image of possibly sunrise happening. On the left side you can see what looks like white dogwood sweeping down and around the forementioned image...and more dogwood sprinkled in the views at the top and back of this piece. The gold inlayed leaf patterns at the top are fabulous...this goes all the way around the piece. The base, narrows of the neck and rim have gold with beading upon it. The most unusual part of this piece is the two handles....they are roosters and their wings attach to the top portion of the vase, and the flowing tail to the bottom side....wow....this is spectacular. This piece measures in at 10 inches tall, but what gives it is boldness and size is its width...it measures at 7 1/2 inches to the widest portion of the handles. On the underside in green is the spoke mark read more
