Vintage First Half of 20th Century Mexican Woven Textile Blanket This piece would be gorgeous in a Mid-Century home, just as the Eames famously used vintage Mexican textiles and Navajo blankets in their home in Los Angeles. Circa 1930-1940's Definitely NOT a typical piece. Vintage, first half of the 20th century large woven blanket . Alternating stripes with geometric figures. The weaving is beautiful. Fibers appear to be wool and cotton. Very soft and finely woven. NOT one of the cheaper, thicker later versions of blankets. Selvaged edge on two sides, fringe on the other two.Multicolors of red, blue, pink, black, white, yellow.Appears to be two woven panels, pieced together: One larger panel measuring approx 63" wide and one 33" wide. Approximately 96 " including fringed edges x 70" Good to very good condition; a few scattered pulls; NO holes, tears that I can see. Colors are still bright and vivid. THINGS FOR YO U TO KNOW 1.
