LI'L ABNER DOGPATCH BAND TIN TOY- MAMMY YOKUM ONLY! NR Album ATTENTION! We are NOT selling The Lil Abner Dogpatch band Tin Toy that you see in the last picture in the auction. We are selling MAMMY YOKUM from the Dogpatch Band Tin Toy. No, I do not have the whole band, I only have HER. Believe it or not I found sitting on top of a junk pile and thought she looked familiar. She is in great shape for a toy made in 1945. She has her arms, and her baton and t is a small rod coming out of the bottom of her to make her move her arms and it works. She is tight and paint looks pretty great to boot. The toy was made by the Unique Art Manufacturing Company of Newark, NJ. It was an Extremely colorful toy with graffiti all around. When wound up, all of the characters from the popular comic strip begin playing or dancing - Li'l Abner dances, Daisy Mae plays the piano, Mammy Yokum keeps time and Pappy Yokum plays drums. So if you have the toy but are missing Mammy Yokum or her baton or her pipe, then this is the auction for you!! Remember this is a NO RESERVE auction. Email me with any questions. Shipping is via USPS priority mail and based on location. Email me your zip and I'll figure your cost for postage. Insurance is extra and always recommended.
