Hello and welcome to Orbrial's. Here we have a Bread Plate and Cups inantique style Made for the Bicentennial in 1976. The Pattern has a Liberty Bell. All Items are in pristine like new condition. I even have the box bottom. I don't know if there was a box top. The Plate says 200 Years Ago, Declaration of Independence, 1776, 1976 , John Hancock, and it has a Liberty Bell on there. It measures 13 by 9 ¼ inches. It is marked a.h.r.c gr. rapids mi 49503 This stands for American Historical Replica Company Grand Rapids, Michigan. My grateful thanks to Cadia, and the Ebay P ottery Glass and Porcelain Board for the following information. The scans inserted below include an excerpt from an article which in cl ude s a seg ment talking about this set, sold by Levay. It states that the Plate and Cups were mader as an updated version of a set made by Adams Glass in 1876. Then there is a scan of the c atalog page. The Cups or Goblets stand about 5 inches tall and hold about a cup (8 oz). They are conside red the 7 ounce size. So you get the platter and 4 cups all in perfect condition with no chips or cracks or cloudiness or scratches. So there you go. Thanks for looking and happy ebaying.
