Lovely vintage Liberty Blue Stafforshire ironstone salt and pepper shakers and covered butter dish made by Enoch Wedgwood. These pieces were made for 1776-1996 bicentennial celebration of America's Declaration of Independence from England. salt and pepper shakers stand about 3 inches high. lovely blue and white pattern. historic colonial scene of Paul Revere's Ride; butter dish has scene of Lafayette landing at West Point. Nice addition to your collection and/or mix and match with other patterns. This is part of a large collection of Liberty Blue Staffordshire Ironstone that I am selling. The collection of Liberty Blue has a different historic colonial scene on each piece. The designs are taken from "original copper engravings of Historic Colonial Scenes printed on Staffordshire ironstone detergent and dishwasher safe. Made in England" (this information is blue makers stamp on bottom of piece). Check out my other listings for more pieces to this collection.
