This is the original Record Information Services (RIS) numerical label listing for British Dot , all Singles, EPs & LPs issued from 1964 to 1974. Also a Singles label listing for British Liberty between 1962 to 1967, and for United Artists between 1962 to 1969. As a bonus, this numerical label listing includes the complete British output (Singles & LPs) on Paramount, Neighborhood, Greene Bottle and Tumbleweed. All listed in numerical order (by catalogue number) and includes Artist, Titles, and Month & Year of issue. Established in the mid-1950s, Liberty first appeared in Britain under the London-American logo. Class acts included Julie London and Eddie Cochran, not forgetting David Seville & The Chipmunks. When it left London in 1962 to emerge under its own banner via EMI, some of the various label series retained the original American catalogue number (which also reflected label origin - Liberty, Dalton or Imperial, the last two having been taken-over by Liberty), other Liberty records were issued on an all-purpose European series shared with other countries. Unfortunately for British record collectors, this meant several very ragged, non-numerical series, which is why this listing was first issued in 1995 - to help the vexed collector decide what was actually pressed in the UK.
