Here is a beautiful piece of Libyan Desert Glass (LDG), created 28 million years ago when a giant stone meteorite struck the sands of North Africa! The super-heated desert sand was instantly turned into hyper-sonic molten glass bombs!! This specimen was in the perfect position to permanently record this event as countless micro-pieces of the stone meteorite are "frozen" within the silicon glass matrix!! This creates the highly collectable and aesthetically pleasing "black" Libyan Desert Glass. This specimen has been on the surface of the Libyan Desert sands for quite some time as it is a total ventrifact, deeply wind sculpted on all sides!Weight: 7.28 grams.Size: 45mm X 19mm X 12mmThis will be my last highly meteorite particle included specimen for a while. Its a perfect cabinet specimen! Don't miss this chance!!!!See my other auctions for other rare and unique cosmogenic collectables! Thanks for looking and
