Lie-Nielsen Skew Block Plane This plane was purchased from Lie-Nielsen in 1998. It has never been used and is in new condition. Because of the economy, I am forced to sell my collection. This unusual plane derives from the Stanley 140 taken out of production many years ago. The castings are Manganese Bronze. The plane measures 6 7/8" x 1 7/8"; the blade is 1 1/2". The plane weighs two lbs, which facilitates smooth, sure cutting even of hard woods. Included is the original Lie-Nielsen description sheet. Also included is an extra replacement blade. Because this plane was manufactured in 1998, it does not have a "nicker". The buyer agrees to pay $15.00 to cover the cost of shipping, handling and insurance.
