N Life-Erie Built NYC New York Central – lightly used Life-Like item # 7491- road # 5003 - bought this used and have only test run it. Erie Built diesels are fairly rare; smooth running. If you haven’t had experience with one of these, it pulls a ton. Knuckle dummy coupler on the front and Rapido at the rear. Original box, but lid has been repaired as you can see in the photo. For several years I was building a collection of locomotives, but now I am building a new layout and need to liquidate some diesels so I can buy track, construction materials, buildings and scenery.
