I don't know anything about them. Lot of 2 pieces of HEAVY pottery figures - (about 15 pounds for the two). These were partially painted and fired and then cold painted. Some areas where they were cold painted have some paint loss. I think that these are 1900-1940 but could be earlier. There is a repair on her Kimono sleeve- a clean break and glue - no losses. I do not know what she is doing to him - it looks like she is cleaning or piercing his ear. The other guy is in great condition and stands 91/2" tall by 4 1/2" wide. The couple stands 8" high by 9" wide. These are very unusual statues and are being sold AS IS. Ask questions prior to bidding as there are no returns.
