The City took my parent’s home in 2010 through eminent domain so they could build a park! Their new house doesn’t have near the storage space. So I’m helping my Dad sell some of his treasures! I found this train set in the attic. I would make a great CHRISTMAS gift for a young collector!!!! The top and bottom of the box is missing, but the molded track and car holder is intact with only minor creases and a few small tears. The cars are dusty on one side (as a result of being uncovered) but perfectly clean on the other side (see the two "Shock Control" photos for contrast). I did not attempt to clean the cars for fear of breaking something or altering painting/decals. The engine, cars and tracks do not appear to have been used or if they were, they were used lightly. Except for dust/dirt, everything is in very good condition (based on my assessment. I'm not experienced with trains so you'll have to judge condition based on the photos!) Set includes: the Santa Fe engine (heavier than the other cars) a colorful Toys R Us boxcar a maroon Santa Fe boxcar a red Santa Fe caboose blue power pack 11 curved track pieces and 1 curved rerailer terminal (when assembled forms a 36" circle) Two small plastic car connectors (?) Lifetime Limited Warranty paperwork I plugged in the power pack and it pushes the engine for a second then stops. read more
