You are bidding on a great piece of decorative art in the Mission or Arts and Crafts style. This picture of lions is accented with a dark fumed wooden frame, and is behind metal "bars" for a caged effect. T is a small metal plaque down below the picture with the title "Life Sentence". This piece reflects the influence of similar pieces by Oscar Onken and the Shop of the Crafters. The picture is unmarked. It is in very good shape-the frame is in excellent condition. T is a small piece missing on the end of the metal title plaque, but the whole title is readable. The lion print itself does have some paper loss and t, but it still looks great. Outside measurements are 8 3/4 by 10 3/4 inches. The image itself measure 5 1/2 by 4 1/8 inches. A charming and well-made piece from the Stickley era.Buyer pays shipping.
