She's been realistically weighted with poly-fill, poly-pellets and ultra micro-fine glass beads. No detail has been overlooked. I use only the highest quality products in my Reborns and I strive to reach the ultimate in realism. I don't generally open the nostrils of my Reborns unless it's possible to do so without risking damage or compromising the integrity of a certain Sculpt, so the nostrils have beenshaded for depth & realism. * This Baby i s a truly One-Of-A-Kind ~ I will never do another quite like her * Baby is coming with the following items & everything shown in the following photos; * Personal Plush Toy (Little Bunny-Poppin' Bunny- Lenni), * Magnetic paci & hair bow; - (I cannot remove any of the magnetic items in this baby.) *"Pink One-Sie with co-ordinating Sweater *Cloth Sandals, *Handcrafted, (by me!), Boutique style bracelet and *authentic newborn Diaper - Just look closely at the photos, it's all there... :) I use a very transparent 'stain' to neutralize vinyls, so the end result does not resemble an overpainted doll, but more closely resembles actual skin. The detail in the skin tones is amazing in real life. This Baby is extremly cuddly & poseable. AND at 20 inches she's a realistic sized baby! I have gone to great lengths to weight her realistically and to hold her is the next best thing to holding a true to life infant. She's not too heavy.... not too light... neither too firm or too floppy. She's 'just right'. Most of my Customers rave about how well I've perfected this particular detail to 'realism' in my Reborns that many Artists overlook. The fact is, it doesn't matter how realistically the Baby appears in the photos, if it doesn't 'feel' like a real baby in real Life then it isn't 'like' a real life baby. All of my Reborns' skin tones are painted in many transparent layers using Genesis permanent heat-set paints that will not fade or change over time. All the tiny blue veins are there... again, just like a real baby. I work very hard to achieve the pale, fragile & translucent skin tones of newborn Infants. You won't see any 'orange' or 'vinyl doll' colors in my Babies as I go to great lengths to adequately 'neutralize' those fake vinyl doll tones before I add the first drop of flesh colored paint.
