I hand-sculpted this little pair of light red foxes, who are curled up together, one little fox leaning his head on the other fox's back. Their tails are curled around them cozily. This fox pair was inspired by a photograph of two young foxes cuddled up together. These foxes were completely hand-sculpted as one piece, from a custom mixture of Ochre, Gold, and Orange Premo polymer clay. After I was satisfied with their forms, I colored and detailed them with Copper, Antique Gold, Pearl, and Carbon Black mica powders. No paints were used anywhere on this sculpture, which was signed with my initials and 2013, the year it was made. This miniature sculpture is about 1 3/8 inches (3.5 cm) long, 1 1/2 inches (3.8 cm) wide, and about 1 3/8 inch (3.5 cm) tall. Note: Although polymer clay bakes hard, due to the small size of these pieces, reasonable care should be taken to avoid breakage of their more delicate features. Barring unusual and unforeseen circumstances, I ship within two business days after purchase.
