OLD LIGHT or SKY BLUE PADRE FUR TRADE BEAD STRAND These date from the 19th to the early 20th century. Both molded and wound beads are in this strand. These were made in Europe and China and traded in many parts of the world. They were very popular in North America. Turquoise or sky blue beads measure about 6 by 9 mm. The coin used for size comparison is an old U.S. buffalo nickel. There are about 23 inches of beads on this strand. They are in good condition for their age: Slight to moderate wear, dirt and pitting, and a few beads have cracks.(See the photos) You will get the exact strand of beads shown in the picture.
