Original illustrated cardboard box contains 20.5" long molded plastic crank-powered remote control Batmobile w/three-dimensional figures of Batman and Robin in cockpit, figures are separate molded and painted soft vinyl. Made in Mexico by Lili Ledy, ©1966 NPP, Inc. Same body style as Transogram and Wader (see following item #2115) Batmobiles issued in 1966, though this version is larger in scale and features totally different figures in different poses, showing Batman steering Batmobile while Robin holds a bomb in his lap. Batman and Robin's chest emblems are painted. Batmobile has oval batsymbol stickers on doors (one is replacement). Batmobile has silvered plastic hubcaps. Additional stickers on front and rear of Batmobile, rear stickers showing heavy wear. Headlight stickers are missing. Hard plastic cockpit canopy is lightly aged and shows lt. wear. Scattered dust soiling. Controls work and when cranked, Batmobile moves forwards or backwards and steers. Control wire has some lt. oxidation, but toy is Fine overall. Box shows obvious wear w/surface paper insect damage, moderate aging and creasing to end flaps, one of which has 4" tear. VG. Rare w/box. First we've offered in our 47 years.
