Included with it are the original box and packing, the deed, a small sheet on Honeysuckle Cottage and small collectors guide. The cottage is about 4.5 inches tall and thick and is about 7 inches wide. Honeysuckle Cottage was among the very first Lilliput Lane sculptures to enter full production in 1982, the year the company was founded. This delightful thatched house, together with a range of other buildings, captured the imagination of those who care about our fascinating architectural heritage. It was these early sculptures that helped establish Lilliput Lane as the world leader of collectible miniature cottages. To commemorate Lilliput Lane's tenth year, Honeysuckle Cottage has been completely re-sculpted to reflect our current state of the art standard of craftsmanship. The building on which Honeysuckle Cottage is based, can be found in the charming Hampshire village of Oakhanger, close to w David Tate once lived, and a few miles away from Chawton w, in 1809, novelist Jane Austen moved to and subsequently penned her most famous works.
