Up for auction is a wonderful Limited Edition teapot fromthe English novelty teapot designer Paul Cardew. This item is signed and stamped in gold by the artist himself. It is indicated as edition number 3088 of 5000. The teapot measures 8.5 inches high and 7 inches wide. This amazing teapot has details crafted with such skill and precision! The teapot is in the shape of a large country hutch. On the top t are some detailed old periodicals “Woodmantons,” and “Farming Made Easy,” in addition to a picture frame and bowl painted with a mother bird feeding her young. The shelves of the hutch contain plates decorated with farm animals (rooster, sheep, pig, cow) as well as a teapot, mugs, pitcher for milk, and a rooster bread dish. The lowest shelf contains a bowl with fruit, a galosh, and a pail with a brush in it. This teapot is remarkably well made and beautifully produced. It is in excellent condition with absolutely no chips, scratches, or repairs. It would make a wonderful addition to any teapot collection! Questions are welcome! Thanks for looking!
