This auction is for a limited footed, handled, hobnail milk glass Oval basket, made by the Fenton Art Glass Company between 1963 and 1967/68. This little basket looks like a woman's purse. It is 6 3/4 inches across and is 4 1/2 inches tall. Lovely scalloped top edge, with a beaded desing. This item is pre-makers mark, but is pictured in "The Big Book of Fenton Milk Glass", by John Walk, on page # 26. This basket is in near mint condition...one small mold mark on one hobnail, that you really have to look for, to find. ( not a chip !!) Only made for 7 years.....hasn't been made by Fenton in 40 years. Great addition to you art glass collection....nice gift item for that special collector in your life.
