~ Charming Limoges Decanter ~ * Charles Ahrenfeldt 1940s * This is Pere Babylas, made for Cointreau in Angers, France.A monk in brown robes and hood clasps his hands, a look of serenity on his face. He has a long gray beard and rosy red cheeks.The backmark is Charles Ahrenfeldt Limoges, dating the piece from the 1940s.The bottle is 8 3/4" tall. It is in perfect condition. This is a delightful and unusual Limoges decanter, a special addition to your collection. Please see my other auctions for more beautiful French porcelain. Thank you for your interest.
