I own about a dozen of these lovely trinket boxes that are a part of my "previous life". After losing your job....it is really amazing how differently you feel about things you own. I look at a lot of my very special things as a source of income now and am unbelievably grateful to have them. These trinket boxes I am listing are the real thing and were gifts from special people in my life. The people are still special to me and I do not need to have this box to remind me of that. OK this one is one of my absolute favorite and I went back and forth on whether or not to part with it. But times being what they are....well, I need income much more than I need these wonderful treasures so I decided to list it. It's absolutely beautiful and if you look closely at the pictures you will see what I mean. It is a beautiful porcelain case with handpainted flowers, vines, leaves and detail. The pretty LIMOGES traditional clasp is a small flower. Then....when you open this box you find inside two tiny glass bottles / decanters that have brushed silvler tops that will screw on and off. Each of these metal tops is embellished with a beautiful blue jewel that matches the exterior of the case...and the tiny little bottle is clear.
