You are bidding on a Beautifully Hand Painted Limoges Cider Jug. The paint on the handle is worn and there is some crackling on the bottom but other than that it appears to be in very good condition. I do not see any chips or cracks and there doesn't appear to be any scratches in the paint -except as I had noted the handle. The jug has a bluish-green Limoges France stamp on the bottom. This piece measures 6" tall and about 9" at its widest point. I acquired this piece from my parents estate. I had an appraiser tell me that it is c. 1900. This jug is sold as is. I am not a collector of Limoges pieces however, I have described this jug as accurately as I possibly could. If you have any questions or would like more pictures please e-mail me. Update: A fellow ebayer emailed me and stated that what I referred to as crackling on the bottom of the jug is actually a spider crack.
