Mark 2175 Lewis Strauss & Sons New York City ca. 1895-1917 red importer's mark - see Rontgen's Marks on German, Bohemian and Austrian Porcelain. More can be read about Lewis Strauss & Sons including their double circle marks on page 278 of Gaston's 3rd Edition of the Encyclopedia of Limoges. Whether or not it has the Austrian, Limoges or New York decorating double circle on it, it is elegant beyond words. The gold is sponged around the top, the finial and the ornate handle. The finial looks like a fancy apostrophe. The peach is the color of a frappe', DREAMSICKLES, ORANGE SHERBERT. Note what looks like two spouts. The bottom spout delivers the drink. Stands 9 1/2 inches in height. Has a diameter of 8 inches from the tip of the spout to and including the handle. No chips, cracks or repairs noted. T are about 3 porcelain pops on the entire unit (two in the gold). POSH! POSH! POSH!
