This Auction is for a model of 1;43RD scale Lincoln Continental MK III I am uncertain of the manufacturer I recall possibly the same model shown many years ago in one of the model magazines advertised as being produced by a company called American Mint. This was a very expensive range of models when produced and were a limited run this model is marked as the fourth in production they were also very expensive the model is in lovely condition the car does not have any glazing and it would appear that a rivet is missing from the base-plate however the car is very much intact and the base-plate is not separated in any way this car is very heavy and this would increase the postage from that of a normal white metal model . Thi is a very hard to find model. On the base-plate of the car it has the following inscription . COLLECTORS MINT TM NO4 1971 CONTINENTAL MKIII PEWTER 1/43RD SCALE C 1980 42 MADE IN USA.
