This is a linen damask towel with a hand embroidered MC monogram circa 1900-1920's. This cream linen towel measures 23 by 39 inches, hems are hand stitched with a row of drawn work. The damask pattern is of beautiful lilies across the ends. The hand embroidered monogram is skillfully hand embroidered onto the front in old stylized scripted letters. These towels are in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed them. The linen is this. soft and sturdy, they appear little used.
