This is an old cast iron base with pulleys. I think this is a countershaft with a shifting mechanism. T are some wires/pins that look like thay may be added later. The casting is not perfect on the ends of the forks, but t is no damage or repairs and this is still strong and functional. This is original condition and works fine but needs a long rod with a bend it it to act as a handle.( i hope that is apparent from the pictures) The base is 9x11 inches. This is 13.5 inches tall. The shaft is 16 inches long and 1 and 1/8 inches diameter. The stacked pulley is 5 x 6.5 inches total. Each pulley on that stack is 6.5,5.5, and 4.5 inches. The other fast and loose pulleys are 5 x 2.5 inches each. This is a nice old looking antique item for your old timey belt drive workshop. 40 pounds as is. Insurance is optional and depends on the final bid. Please let me know if you want that option. Check out my other auctions, t is never a reserve and always a low opening bid. Please feel free to email any questions. I try to keep shipping costs as low as I can. No handling charge. I will gladly combine items to save shipping. Thanks for looking.
