In Stock and Ready to Ship! This is a Lionel 1872 General 4-4-0 Steam Locomotive and Tender from 1959. Features include a powerful motor with reverse, operating headlight, operating smoke unit, metal wheels and axles. It is made of plastic and the tender features plastic trucks, a wood load, and a knuckle coupler on the rear. It is in nice shape, complete with no broken or missing parts. It has a few scratches and nicks on the shell. T are no broken edges or deep mars in the body, but t are a few too many nicks to consider this item Excellent. The smoke stack is open (no cover). T is no piping. However, the paint and lettering is complete and has not faded. It is all original with no reproduction parts. Inspected by both our in-house Lionel Postwar experts and by our Authorized Lionel Service Station, we guarantee this item is completely functional and operable.
