Here we have a very nice Lionel # 21796 New Jersey Medical School Alumni Association Rapid Surgical Response Train set. This is a rare complete & ready-to-run train set, produced in 2001. Included is a Certificate of Authenticity, stating that it is one of only five hundred sets produced. It features a beautiful # 1954 Hudson Jr. steam locomotive, with operating headlight & smoke unit. It comes with a beautifully detailed NJMS air whistle tender, a #26009 flatcar with a die-cast helicopter, a #36233 box car, and a #26558 illuminated rescue caboose. Also included are a powerful 80 watt transformer, and enough track to build a 31"x72" oval. The cover of the box has some slight damage, but nothing else. The cars were opened only for display, and the track & transformer are still sealed. The only reason I listed it as used is because the box has been opened.
