Description: Lionel 2333-14 Celluloid Portholes with Dimple - More from Madison Hardware, and exceedingly difficult to locate. When Lionel first released their Santa Fe and NYC 2333 F-3's, they had celluloid portholes made of celluloid and inserted by machine that dimpled them to allow them to fit properly. It was this machine insertion process that caused the dimple, and later after Lionel discovered how poor the idea really was, made these available as replacements because the originals were always falling out. We found a small quantity in a paper envelope as sent to Madison Hardware from Lionel's Sager Place facilities. Need tough to locate parts? Write to us with your needs.
