This 1956 issue Lionel 2360 Congressional Set five gold stripe Tuscan dual motor GG1 electric locomotive is in excellent original condition except for the rubbing off of the center and the overall fading of the stripes. The stripes have faded but there only minute wear to the paint. This variation competes closely with the black 2332 as the rarest variation of the GG-1. Perhaps because it was only issued as part of the 1956 Congressional Set. Dealers were still stuck with 2340 Congressional Sets. They were much better off investing in Santa Fe F3 aluminum car passenger sets. The operation has been tested and is guaranteed for thirty days.
