Offered for sale is a Lionel 2466W whistle tender. This tender has received a total overhaul, it has been cleaned inside and out, the trucks have been disassembled, cleaned, rewired and properly lubricated. The tender frame was stripped and then powder coated and re-stamped. The rear truck has an electro coupler that works as intended, the whistle armature has been cleaned, new brush springs and brushes have been installed. Upon reassembly the whistle tender was tested and the whistle blows loud and clear, the electro coupler releases and the tender rolls smooth on tracks. This Lionel 2466W has the heavy metal whistle unit inside the tender shell.
