In Stock and Ready to Ship! This is a Lionel 259E 2-4-2 Sheet Metal Streamlined Steam Locomotive from 1933-40. The 259E was used in several uncatalogued sets. The locomotive features sheet metal construction, a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, metal side rods and metal wheels. It does not include a tender. The paint is worn in several areas, and the Lionel logo is barely visible on one side. The rear truck is also missing. This locomotive is sold as-is. It has been inspected by our Lionel Postwar experts and by our Authorized Lionel Service Department and we guarante that the motor, reverse unit and light are all functioning properly.
