Overview : Up for bid is a Lionel 6-27535 Union Pacific 50ft PS-4 Flat Car, weathered 2R. Also included is a diecast and plastic John Deere impliment load (retail $60). I have been dying to try some type of farm equipment load and these plows seemed a good place to start. The car has a build date of '57 and has been weathered for the late 60's to mid 70's. The load has been permanently attached to the car and I used 4 steel tie rods per stack. The car also comes equipped with Kadee 805 couplers and Atlas Bettendorf trucks. Other models not part of auction. Serial Number: 1264 Each car comes with an engraved plate listing serial number. The completed car album of over 1000 cars to date is now being uploaded to . the album Weathering Information: This is a new car that has been removed from its packaging, weathered, KD 805 couplers installed, Atlas trucks installed, and repacked. It was created with a combination of artists colors, Floquil paints, weathering powders, dry brushing, and air brushing. The rust was created with a combination of artists colors layered to achieve a realistic pitted and "running" effect. The trucks and wheels are also weathered with 3 separate colors to achieve maximum realism.
