Here is a good working lionel 282 gantry crane with it's 282C controller up for bid. It was disassembled , cleaned and lubed including the motor, rewired and put back together in good working condition. The only problem was the gantry base. One set of legs toe in a little and 3 small wooden blocks had to replace the broken tabs for the screws that hold the cab base. See last picture. The cab, boom and magnet are all in good shape.
