Description LIONEL POSTWAR 394 RED ROTARY BEACON ACCESSSORY, This timeless Lionel accessory was produced from 1949-53 and this is red painted version. After a minute or two of operation the lamp will heat the air inside of the beacon housing and this warm air streaming through the vanes in the top of the housing will cause it to rotate slowly. If you wish you can start it off by spinning it gently in a clockwise direction. Beacon will operate with American Flyer "S" gauge. "O27" & "O" gauge Lionel, K-Line, MTH, Williams, and others. Beacon comes with a replacement beacon top, its special dimpled bulb, a spare bulb, a CTC lockon, connecting wires and a xerox copy of instruction sheet.
