This is a LIONEL 6111 LOG FLATCAR and a 6121 PIPE CAR, both from 1957. They have AAR trucks with operating couplers . These cars are made from stamped sheet metal with blackened-steel racks. Neither one has the number stamped on the car; But, the PIPE car was the 6121 with three pipes. The 6111 had three stained logs. Actually, they are the same car. This car shows some wear but the paint has held up well. The 6111 (yellow pipe car) has some rust on the bed, but the bottom is good. The couplers hold but will not open with remote. On the grey LOG CAR both couplers work. All of the corner steps are intact on both cars. Each car is complete with three logs, or three pipes. (repros) Both cars may not be high end collectables but they bot are very functionable. Ships NEXT DAY OR SOONER to the lower 48, with PayPal being the accepted method of payment.
