A bit of a rare work caboose. The United States Marine Corp. work caboose was issued as a part of the Lionel #1805 U.S. MARINES LAND-SEA AND AIR MISSILE LAUNCH TRAIN SET in 1960. This one has been recently taken apart and cleaned. The white markings on the one side are nice but the other side is pretty weak. There are some rust type blemishes here and there. Also, I believe the insert, oxygen tank, and stretchers are not original issue. That said, this is a pretty nice representation of a tough to find caboose, made 53 years ago.
