You are bidding on a postwar Lionel #736 Berkshire Steam Locomotive that was cataloged in 1950-51, and again from 1953 to 1968. This one dates from 1955. This loco is in excellent+ condition and has no problems or damage. The die-cast boiler is flawless. Boiler front is original and undamaged. The original black paint still has a super nice appearance with very few noticeable contact marks. Cab numbers are clear and bold. The metal parts are rust-free and have excellent original finish. Features Magne-traction, operating smoke unit and an operating headlight. Runs forward and reverse with a 3-position e-unit. This loco has been tested and was found to be in running condition. The tender is in excellent+ condition with no problems or damage. The plastic body is flawless. There are no broken steps. The paint still has a super nice appearance with very few noticeable contact marks. The lettering is clear and bold. The metal parts are rust-free and have excellent original finish. Has metal bar-end trucks with an operating coupler. The whistle is in good working order. Absolutely nothing is broken or missing. Decent original boxes are included.
