Here is a Lionel 6-8003 Chessie Steam Special Berkshire and Tender from 1980. This engine headed up the Chessie Steam Special Passenger set from that year and was one of the first Berkshires produced in the Modern Era, the other being the 8002 Union Pacific from the same year. Its features include a die-cast boiler,an open frame motor, Magnetraction, an operating smoke unit, an operating headlight, electronic whistle and Sound of Steam. This item has been quick tested by our repair department and is fully functional. The light socket has been repaired. This locomotive and tender have a few nicks and scratches but they are still mechanically sound. No box. Overall condition is Excellent. The Trainz SKU for this item is 3342815.
