The switcher works fine but it is DC only. One of the cabooses has a broken step and also one of the trucks is held on by a screw instead of the usual rivet. The log dump car is missing the clip that snaps into the rectangular slot by the "button" on bottom. The rest of the mechanism is t and the bed can be manually tilted. The tender is a Lionel Scout in fair condition.
