This auction is for an early MPC era Lionel 9090 General Mills Mini-Max Boxcar. This is a collector grade piece. It comes with a very crisp original box, and the scarce six original crates as a load. Note in picture two that the inside supports have not been cut, so the roof wont sag. The car has two axles and dummy couplers on each end. Both of the white side doors lift up. Nothing broken or damaged anywhere. This is the original box for this piece. The printing is a little faint, but it does read "Mini Max 9090" on both end flaps. The clear cellophane front is perfectly intact and all flaps are present without any tears or tape anywhere. This left the factory in 1971 as a separate sale item, and may have been the first item the then new Lionel made from all new molds. A little dusty, but still a really nice piece. I'd be happy to combine shipping with anything else I have up for auction this week. Thanks for looking.
