Size of cars 10" long, we have The Lionel "O" Gauge Blue Comet Train, Lionel Classics, dated 1991. The train is all metal has lights. The train is not in mint condition but is in very good condition, it looks like it was hardly run. I do not have any way to test it but looking at the condition I can not think why it would not run well. In the box is a receipt that says the train was perchesed in 1994 for $1166.00. The outer box is in rough condition. Over all this is a very nice train. Please search pop471 for more stuff.
