Lionel HO Train Sound Effects Picture Disc Scarce 1952 Mail Order Flexi Hard To Find In Any Condition! I have not played the record so I can't tell you what sound effects are on it or even if it plays at all. The size of the flexi is approx. 5-1/2 inches across. This 78 rpm picture disc or flexi mail-in offer was included in most Lionel train sets in the U.S. in 1952, if you sent in your .25 cents with the mail order form to the company they would ship the disc back to you as a bonus for buying the train set. The record has very minor damage right around the center spindle hole. It looks like someone, many years ago, tried to play the record but the spindle hole wasn't quite big enough, the plastic got chipped and the paper picture torn about 1/4 of an inch right around the hole on both sides of the disc, and of course t's some yellowed tape residue on one side of the as well (see pics). The disc has a paper center with full color train illustrations between two clear records sealed around the edges. The disc is not in mint condition but considering that it's 58 years old it's in great shape for it's age, the record looks really nice and would be a fine addition to just about anyone's vintage train display, even more so if your set up is from 1952!Please, carefully check out the photos & thanks so much for looking!rockyj PLEASE READ read more
